2007-04-29 - Recommissioning

As part of the recommissioning of the car (it's been off the road since 2004), I decided to remove the Weber carburettor and fit a standard Zenith carb. The biggest issue with this was the fact that the exhaust didn't have the right clamp on it, so these pictures show how I cut a clamp, bent it open and welded it back together again. I'm not very experienced at welding, but I think this job will hold together as long as the rest of the exhaust does!
