History of A953 ONA
Well, well. Look what we have here. How 1980s is this? It’s a 1983 Renault 5 Le Car 2 TL 5-door in what we would probably now refer to as a delectable shade of Latte! This petite gem has covered just 29,000 miles from new and flew through its MoT today with the tester commenting: “Amazing. It must have spent its life wrapped in cooton wool!” The Renault 5 was once Europe’s best selling car. But do we see them tootling about on our roads today? No, we don’t. But here is one all ready for just that. Totally original paintwork, unmarked interior and a sprightly engine. What more can you ask from a small 5-door hatch. It really is a little timewarp. There’s the odd parking ding (they won’t even show up on the photos) and scratch here and there, but I must stress it has never been painted and nor does it need to be! What a rare opportunity.
